Educational online training courses resources

MOOC (Mass Open Online Course) is an online course designed for free access to study. It does not limit the number of people who can register. It is OPEN because anyone can enroll. You can only access it online.

MOOCs are often presented in the form of video tutorials, e-books, quick assessments and discussion forums. It helps students, professionals and many others to deepen their knowledge in their fields. Ukrainian language:

  • Using Open Educational Resources in Teaching  - The open online course «Using Open Educational Resources in Teaching» from the Politecnico di Milano (Italy) is available free of charge to everyone. The course is partially adapted into Ukrainian by the Scientific Library of the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies. Certificates from Politecnico di Milano (in English) and USUST (in Ukrainian, 2 credits) upon completion of the course and testing. 
  • Prometheus  - public project of mass open online courses (MOОК).
  • EdEra  - an educational project that develops online educational content and solutions for online learning platforms. All project courses are free, but upon completion, anyone can thank the project.
  • Knowledge portal  - Free access to training courses on various topics. Educational resources on information technology, programming, software design, as well as materials from other subject areas.
  • Duolingo  - free platform for learning foreign languages.
  • Babbel  - free language courses (German, Polish, English) for Ukrainians.

Foreign language:

  • Coursera  - a project that offers free online courses in a variety of subjects from leading American universities.
  • edX  - a library of online courses from the world's top universities for any specialty.
  • MOOC List  - Search system for open online courses conducted by various services and educational institutions (Coursera , edX , FutureLearn , Udacity etc).
  • Open Course Library  - A collection of high quality, free-to-use courses that you can download and use for teaching. All content is stored in Google docs making it easy to access, browse and download.
  • MITOpenCourseWare  - Open educational resources of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) - lectures, seminars, audio, video courses, etc.
  • OpenLearning  - is an online learning platform where everyone can both post their courses (it is possible to do it for free) and study.
  • СourseForMe - A collection of online courses, from many categories.
  • Wikiversity  - is a Wikimedia Foundation project devoted to learning resources, learning projects, and research for use in all levels, types, and styles of education from pre-school to university, including professional training and informal learning.
